CIM^® immobilized enzyme columns can be applied in research as a tool for fast automated screening of possible new drugs and characterization of new compounds’ action mode in the preliminary phases of drug discovery. Some examples of the CIM^® immobilized enzymes include DNase, RNase, trypsin, glucose oxidase and acetylcholinesterase. CIM^® immobilized enzyme columns are characterized by low nonspecific matrix interactions and immediate recovery of enzyme activity.
