Plasmid DNA purification and quantitation
Plasmid DNA (pDNA) molecules range in size from 1 to more than 1000kb. As the demand for pDNA based gene therapy and vaccines increases, large scale, cost effective, and reproducible pDNA production is required. Final products have to contain high percentage of supercoiled pDNA and removal of impurities (degradated pDNA, RNA, proteins and DNA) has to be ensured.
With all advantages which monoliths offer we were able to design efficient
process for pDNA purification as well as chromatography column based pDNA quantification and process monitoring (using
CIMac pDNA analytical columns).
