CIM® Protein A-8f mL HLD (High Ligand Density) Tube Monolithic Column

Cat. No.:  437.1002

General Description:

The CIM® Protein A HLD-8f high throughput Tube Monolithic Column consists of a unique polymeric monolith encased in a specially designed housing. This column is used for extremely fast, highly efficient purification of immunoglobulin G. Protein A binds to Fc portion of antibodies (IgG class) without affecting antigen binding. The design of the column allows the mobile phase to run in a radial direction from the outer to the inner surface. In this way, resolution is preserved during scale-up while maintaining the short separation layer length. The short monolithic length and the specially engineered highly porous structure allow operations at elevated flow rates with low-pressure drops (only few bars).

Features and Benefits:

  • Flow unaffected resolution
Extremely fast separations speed up method development and decrease costs. Speed also enables in-process control and analytics.
  • High dynamic binding capacity
High binding capacity, even for large molecules, boost productivity even to 10-fold!
  • High throughput at low pressure drop
High flow rates can be achieved at moderate pressure drops- no need for expensive equipment (pumps)

  • Same material and design accross all products
Same material and design accross all sizes, enable easy scale-up from analytical, semi-prep and industrial scale.
